How we choose products

We select products for coverage based on search demand, category relevance to home recovery hardware, and availability of verifiable manufacturer specifications. We prioritize brands that publish clear pricing, dimensions, power requirements, and warranty terms.

How we rank

Rankings are editorial judgments based on: (1) manufacturer-published specifications, (2) warranty length and terms, (3) modeled total cost of ownership including power draw and maintenance, and (4) footprint and installation requirements relative to typical home setups. We do not use hands-on lab testing methodology today — where we say "research-based," we mean it, and we do not claim tested-in-person results we have not performed.

Commissions and rankings are separate

Amped Markets may earn a commission when readers purchase through certain links on this site, at no additional cost to the reader. Commission availability and rate never influence which products we cover or how we rank them. Where we have not yet been approved into a brand's affiliate program, we say so explicitly and link directly to the brand's official page.

No trademark bidding or coupon-site tactics

We do not bid on branded search terms or present ourselves as a coupon or deals aggregator, consistent with the affiliate program restrictions of the brands we cover (see our affiliate disclosure).

Corrections

If you notice an outdated price, spec, or broken source link, contact us via our contact page and we will review and correct it.
